Owner History


President and Owner Steve Berdinis born in 1958, graduated in 1979 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY with a BS in physics and minor in computer science. He has owned and operated the company since purchasing it from the Bishops' in 1986.

"We started out on a shoestring budget. I had no paycheck in 1986 and 1987 (the first 2 years I owned Bishop's) to keep us afloat. With hard work and dedication to helping our customers' buyers look good in the eyes of their supervisors we have grown. We attribute our current success to word of mouth referrals, 11 acquisitons, and really great employees. We have been able to survive and thrive for over 32 years by providing products and services on time and priced right to our great customers.
We belong to a large buying group called Tri-Mega which helps us use the buying power of almost a thousand office products dealers to crush the national Big Box stores.
